Grazing Down the Lachlan 2021 Full Program Announced
The 2021 Grazing Down the Lachlan program was officially launched today, with a full line up of events and activities celebrating and showcasing the region’s food, entertainment, art, culture, art and history.
Chair of the Grazing Down the Lachlan committee, Wendy Muffet said, “after the challenges of 2020, Team Grazing are delighted to be bringing this unique foodie adventure back to Forbes in September.”
“We spent last year working behind the scenes to make our multi-award-winning event even more exciting.
“While we are so look forward to the weekend-long festival, the health and safety of our community and visitors is first priority. As such, our program has been developed in conjunction with a robust Covid-safe plan so that your adventure ‘down the Lachlan’ is a safe and enjoyable one,” Wendy added.
Sundowners by the Lake
The opening night of the Grazing.
Sundowners by the Lake will be held on Friday 17 September 2021 in Lions Park from 6pm until 10pm. Hosted by ABC Radio’s Weekend Mornings presenter, Simon Marnie.
“O Tama is an old friend and raves about how good ‘Grazing’ is and so I’ve been wanting to come to this for ages and this year we finally can”, Simon said.
I can’t wait to celebrate the food producers, growers and scenery along The Lachlan - especially after flood, fire, drought and Covid – with fun people and a strong community.”
Hear from Grazing’s 2021 Creative Director and renowned Sydney chef, O Tama Carey before the live acoustic music kicks in as the sun sets over Lake Forbes. Featuring folk duo, Thousand Rivers.
Bring a picnic rug, a few mates and grab yourself a bite to eat from one of the pop-up vendors. Sundowners is a BYO event.
